Prioritize Your Skincare This Year: Top Treatments We Offer

The New Year is upon us! Even if you’re not someone who typically makes resolutions, this is a great time to re-examine your priorities and set your intentions. Perhaps you’d like to re-prioritize skincare in the new year. Whether you’re worried about wrinkles or anxious about acne, Balance MedSpa is proud to offer a wide variety of skincare services for you to incorporate into your routine in 2025.

Balance Signature Facial

The Balance Signature Facial is one of our most popular facials. We love it so much that we gave it our name! This treatment starts with a deep, cleansing steam treatment to soften and clear congested pores. Then, we cleanse and exfoliate your skin before finishing the treatment with a custom face mask.

Since we customize this facial to fit your unique needs, it’s a great choice for every skin type, from dry to oily. Many of our clients include a monthly facial in their skincare routine and find their skin appears more clear, toned, and even for weeks afterward.

HydraFacial

Another facial option is the HydraFacial. This patented treatment is designed to enhance skin health, leaving a healthy glow. Performed with a specialized tool, the HydraFacial starts with a cleansing routine, followed by extractions. Then, we complete the treatment by saturating your skin with antioxidants and peptides for a long-lasting glow.

The HydraFacial can also be customized with the addition of specialized serums and boosters. Here are a few of the most popular additions:

  • Rozatrol Booster Serum: Relieves visible signs of redness
  • Britenol Booster Serum: Fights dark spots and sun spots
  • Growth Factor Booster Serum: Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles

Balance Peel

For those struggling with uneven skin tone, frequent breakouts, or clogged pores, periodic chemical peels can be a life-changing addition to the skincare routine. At Balance MedSpa, we love the Balance Peel for clients with a wide range of skin concerns. This peel uses a blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids, along with some retinol, to gently remove the dry, surface-level skin cells, revealing healthier, smoother skin underneath.

Jessner’s Peel

Another peel we offer is called Jessner’s Peel. This one uses a combination of three exfoliating acids, plus Resorincol. It tends to work well for clients with dark spots and uneven skin tone. Your practitioner can examine your skin, talk to you about your preferences, and determine which peel will give you optimal results.

Dermaplaning

Maybe your skin has been looking a bit dull, and you dream of having the bright, taut, glowing skin of your youth. In this case, you may want to add dermaplaning to your skincare routine.

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive treatment in which we use a sharp blade to gently shave away the tiny hairs and most surface-level skin cells. This might sound a bit scary, but our practitioners know how to use the blade very carefully and precisely. Your skin will instantly look smoother and brighter.

Clients also find it easier to apply makeup and other cosmetics after a dermaplaning treatment. If you have a big event coming up, you might want to have some dermaplaning done a few days beforehand.

IPL (Photofacial)

While we offer several laser, light, and RF-based treatments, one of our most popular is IPL. “IPL” stands for “intense pulsed light.” Indeed, this treatment delivers targeted pulses of light at a very specific wavelength. Extra pigments within your skin cells are destroyed, resulting in a more even skin tone.

If you’ve started to notice age spots or sun spots, IPL is a great treatment to add to your skincare routine this year. It’s gentle, non-invasive, and can be completed on your lunch break.

Microneedling

Another option to explore is microneedling, a treatment that works by boosting your skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin. These proteins give your skin elasticity and tone. For this reason, microneedling can help ease fine lines and wrinkles, reduce the appearance of scars, and even out roughly textured skin.

So, what does a microneedling treatment involve? This is another one that sounds scarier than it really is. Your practitioner inserts tiny needles into the surface of your skin. The tiny wounds created by this process just start your body’s healing mechanisms, leading to collagen production and the long list of skin benefits we just described.

Whether you’re looking to overhaul your skincare routine or just make some healthy additions in the New Year, Balance MedSpa is here to help.
